In response to Isaiah 58 and Matthew 25:31-46, Ministry of the Sheep International exists as an advocate for children, widows, homeless, sick and the enslaved, to release them from their spiritual, economic, social and physical bonds.
Also, in response to The Great Commission (Matt 28:18-20) to go to all the world, making disciples, baptising them, teaching them and enable them to become responsible and fulfilled Christians.
Ministry of the Sheep International is dedicated to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, building orphanages, churches, schools, feeding centers and medical clinics to care for the needs of orphans, widows and others in need. To release them from their spiritual, economic, social and physical bonds by empowering them to make a better future for themselves through faith in Jesus Christ and education.
Ministry of the Sheep International will do this where ever God leads us, opens doors and provides finances for.
Statement of Faith
WE BELIEVE:
That the Bible is God's only Holy Word, verbally and fully inspired in the original text, and that it is the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct and is the only text to and for men.
In one God, the Father, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power, that He hears and answers prayers, and that He saves from sin and death all who repent of their sins and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
In Jesus Christ, the divine, eternal and begotten Son of God. We believe that in His earthy life He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin and lived a sinless life. We believe in His vicarious and atoning death for the sins of all He has called and are His elect in the world. We believe in His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension to the right hand of the Father to make intercession for the saints, His elect, and His personal, visible, return to the world in power and glory.
In the Holy Spirit, in His personality and deity, that He was sent forth from the Father to convince the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgement. We believe that He is come to regenerate, indwell, sanctify, instruct and comfort the saints.
In the church--the living spiritual body of which all regenerated persons are members. We believe that the Lord laid upon the church the task of taking the Gospel message unto all the world as a witness, giving a warning message of impending judgment to all who will not repent of their sins, and the glorious hope of salvation through the sacrificed blood of the Lamb Of God, Jesus Christ and in Jesus Christ alone.
That all men are, by nature and by choice, sinners, destitute of all power to save themselves. We believe, therefore, that the only means of salvation of sinful men is the regeneration work of the Holy Spirit on the basis of the atoning work of Christ through personal faith in Christ. We believe in the resurrection of all men, those that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation and those that are regenerated to the resurrection of eternal life.
That all sin, stealing, adultery, fornication, homosexuality, etc. must be repentented of. As Jesus said “your sins are forgiven, GO AND SIN NO MORE.”
We believe that we were at one time under the laws of God which condemned us but after salvation have been taken out from beneath those laws by Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross. We believe that Jesus Christ alone is our salvation and that no amount of law keeping or any other works that we do can save us.
That all Christians are ordained by the Holy Spirit to spread the Gospel with whatever gift they are given from God. Not all are to be Pastors but all are to use their Gift of God to present the gospel. [1 corinthians 12:28-31]
That the method of baptism is by water submersion of his/her body. This is to represent the spiritual burial of the old man and the resurrection of the new man in Christ. We also believe that ones salvation is not dependent on baptism, but that baptism is the outward evidence of ones desire to be obedient to God and His commands.
That "The Lord's Supper" as often as it is taken, is the second of the two sacraments, the other is baptism,
We believe the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a special experience following salvation that empowers believers for witnessing and effective service, just as it did in New Testament times. The Initial physical evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is ‘Speaking in Tongues,’ as experienced on the Day of Pentecost and referenced throughout Acts and the Epistles.
that the church is commanded to administer to the saints. We also believe that the Lord's Supper is only to be taken by those that are believers.
In a real heaven, a place that all believers go immediately upon the death of their earthy bodies. They are in a conscious state and are glorifying God. In a real hell, a place of eternal torment that will last for all eternity of which once there, there is no way out. We believe that the unrepentive sinner will be forever separated from God in hell.
